Nice pictures AJ. The airbags were both deployed and the windscreen cracked, which was hard to see in the pics. The coolant was dumped as well, a bit of which you could see. The car was hauled away on a flatbed a couple of hours after you got your snaps. Of course the TT Porsche that came in with an engine bay fire was pretty nifty to see also. Both were pretty expensive little excursions.

How long before you want to go up to Laguna again? Speedventures will not be going again this year, but TrackMasters has a couple more dates with sign up room. I have too much work this month still, and have signed up for the Car Control Clinic with the Skip Barber School on the 27th, so no tracking for me until March at the earliest it looks like.

VIS carbon fiber, painted with factory spec paint to match. One nose intake scoop at the high pressure area, and six "gill" vents to express heat. It throws the flow into the A pillar area, rather than against the windscreen. (If you have your window down and your elbow sticking out, you definitely feel the hot air blasting by!)

AJ:
You did a very commendable job of driving that track, with excellent times for a first time visitor to the track, and you did not get the "Red Mist" and go crazy or do silly things. Very mature and intelligent driving, good results, and some serious thrills. You blued your rotors, so you were definitely getting on and off all the pedals with determination!

The Skip Barber school is really quite outstanding and a better investment than any mods to the car (you get to take the improved "you" and apply the skills to every car you step into) if you want performance from every vehicle.
The three day racing course is worth saving your coin for.

I look forward to seeing the pics! When I head back up there I will give you an email to see if you can be tempted.

Cheers
Ed
