Track wheels

Hey, looking for some recommendations on what to get width wise front and back. I'm going for 17" that will clear my brembos, just not sure what width would be good to keep the car close to neutral, but biased towards oversteer. I realize tire width affects this more than wheel width, but I want to have the right wheels for the tires.

really depends on what you can find that'll clear the brakes. I'd probably say something like 8.0-8.5 front and 9.0-9.5 rear will be your best bet in a 17" size?

I confirmed with Jason@Performance on MY350Z that the recomended rim fitment for 17" FN01R-C are 17x9 +15 and 17x10 +12, as with some other MY350Z members agreeing to the fitment. He also wrote to me noting that 17x10 +25 will fit up front as well and will clear the factory brembo brakes. I have also test fitted 17x9 +35, it cleared the brembo brakes but the rear of rim clearance was tight..concluding a +15 would flush up on the fenderwell, not needing any fender flaring or rolling. I've also test fitted a 17x10 +35 with a spacer, concluding +25 would be a better fit, still a bit tight behind the rim and tire, requiring the need to stretch the front tire.

I have ordered at set, 17x10 +25 up front and 17x10 +12 for the back. I will be mounting NT01 245/45 stretching the front and 275/40 to square out the rear. When I get them in and tires mounted, I'll post up pics.

I have 17x9 +27 MB Motorsports Competition wheels from www.tires.com. They are cast AL and sort of heavy, but they are inexpensive and they fit. I have Toyo RA-1 255/40-17 r-compound tires on them, all around. Supposedly, 275's will fit too.

The MB Motorsports Weapon is another alternative.

I've got the exact same wheels as P_Diddy, but on 275/40/17 Avon Tech-R r-compouds all around. They're not nearly the lightest 17x9 wheel around, but they're MUCH lighter than my daily driver 19's, and stockers, and are very affordable.

Keep in mind that wheels, in and of themselves, won't be enough to cure your G of it's (designed-in) understeer. I wouldn't recommend going with a wider wheel/tire combo up front as a radical solution for this. If you're serious about moving your car more to a neutral to oversteering handling bias, I'd highly recommend you consider springs, shocks and most importantly, adjustable sway bars to address this.

Back to the subject at hand, BBS makes a very nice forged wheel in a 17" size. I love the performance and styling of the diamond black 18" BBS RG-Rs on my track model!
