Will this mod work if you have an aftermarket alarm installed? I would rather get this beep than my alarm chirp.

It would technically work, but you would have to find a way to disable the arm/diarm chirps. This module does not provide any way to disable the chirps.

We don't ship everyday. Once the order has been shipped the status will be updated and a tracking number will be provided.

I got mine installed about a month ago and I love it. The only problem is, about 1 out of 8 times I will press unlock button and here it beep only once and then if I press lock\unlock anymore, it won't beep at all. After I drive somewhere and press lock\unlock it will work perfectly. Not a big deal but I was wondering if there's anything I did wrong during the install or anything I can do to prevent this. Thanks in advance

Thats odd. The only time it should 'ignore' lock/unlock pulses is for the first few seconds after you turn the ignition off.

If it is only beeping once on the 'unlock' pulse the CPU may be freezing for some reason. It shouldn't do this at all, and if you want to send it back for evaluation let me know.

Well, I probably won't need to send it back, it's not that big of a deal. Another thing to add though is when this does happen, I will hear it beep once after I start driving. Almost as if it's lagging or something? I donno. I'll see if the problem persists.

Mine sometimes will beep once and after about 30 seconds later the second beep will sound. The engine is already on for a good 20 seconds.

How often does it do it? Does it always mess up on the 'unlock' beep only?

It's only on the Unlock. I've had the module installed for about 2 months and it has happened about 5 times.

Quick question. I like the location others have located the sound box but how will it sound if you have the RHD battery cover over that area? Will it be loud enough?

I moved mine just outside the RHD cover because it sounded a bit too muffled for my taste. I also tried to mount mine in a fashion so the output went all the way under the car (basically I pointed it at daylight beneath my car.)

Hello KP,

I followed this install guide to the T and the only problem I have is the beeps are very slowwww to beep.

I will be making a short video tonight to show you what I'm talking about. I've only had the regular/normal short beeps about 3 days from the whole time I've had it lol

Can someone post a DIY for installing the window up module??? I've had this thing for like 9 months now and haven't gotten around to getting it installed. I tried twice, but def didn't do it correctly obviously since it still isn't installed
