Yeah, I forgot to thank the TS. I used this write up a while back and it really came in handy, I'll upload some pics later if i remember.

Those plugs above look like you may have to cut too much out to make them fit. I've never had an issue with my plugs coming loose.

Awesome write up, I still have the license plate right smack in the middle, wanted to remove for cleaner look and ziptie my license plate to the side. I may do this mod this weekend. Great write up!, thanks.

They are the same size as stated from the original poster 7/16"

I just tried this but went with th 3/8 instead of the 7/16 because i didnt want to bore out my bumper holes any more. They fit perfect.

Anybody done this recently? Im having trouble finding the nylon plugs, ive been to both Lowe's and Home Depot. Any help would be appreciated, or an alternate way of filling the holes in my bumper.

I tried this and had a hard time getting the brush strokes from the touch-up paint to smooth out, but my touch-up paint was 1 year old, maybe I need to grab a new bottle?

Any suggestions, I think maybe I'm just horrible at painting...

Look on Ebay. I just bought my G a couple weeks ago and mine was missing. I called Infiniti and they wanted $35 for a new one that was not painted! I saw some on Ebay and found my color and others for about 10 bucks or less. Do a search on "G35 bumper" and hit "Lowest price first" it will be under cover, tow or something else. Good luck!

Bump for a great DIY! I think removing the front license plate will give the car a fresh look.
