OEM Shift ****

I just bought a new shift **** to replace the stock shift ****. But I can't get the stock shift **** off to save my life!!! Anyone got any suggestion on how to get it off??? I have an 05 coupe 6mt!!!

It is glued in. I used the handles of a channel lock pliers for leverage, and wrap the shift **** with a towel to prevent any damage. Hope this helps.

It may not be suggested, but I just put some elbow grease into it and turned the beast off without any tools needed. Didn't hurt a thing. Was a little scary, but it worked fine. I suggest doing it the right way, but if you're impatient like me then just twist the b*tch off.
