I'm wanting to paint my wheels cherry blossom (pink)...would it be better to use white plasti dip so the pink is brighter?

Yes, use the white base if you want brighter colors and black base for darker colors. They have a blaze pink coming out along with other blaze colors at dipyourcar.com to.

Nice job! I painted my entire car plasti dipped. Never thought to paint normal paint over Dip. Have you ever tried to peel it off? Pm me if so,id be interested for the outcome if it peels easily or not

I plasti dipped my entire car (Matte blue), my rims,grille,window/door trim i did matte black, it is so so sick. i get compliments EVERYWHERE, people offer me crazy money to do it to their stuff, it is honestly pretty easy,if you have a basic understanding of paint.
I used the wagner paint gun on the entire car, only used cans for the rims and trim.
I get wholesale on plasti dip- PM me if interested, entire car kits,or single cans. Blue,Red,black, yellow, pink, green, camo, gunmetal. Matte or Gloss finish

So I have an issue. I spent hours taping off my car and lug nuts and plast dipped my wheels on the car because I didn't have tools to take off the wheels. I spent a lot of time doing it and made sure to get the lip real well. I let the car sit for 2 days and drive for about 15 minutes and it started to peel right off the edge in a few spots on a few wheels. Idk what happened. My guess is I had some left over tire shine that didn't allow it to stick? No idea. Any ideas??? Now I have to redo it AGAIN urgghh.

Yea I'm also really really interested in how it comes off with paint over it. Wouldn't that make it super easy to paint the whole car any glossy color? I would assume you would need an extra coat or two of plasti dip to make sure it peeled alright. This looks like a great product but matte isn't my thing. It would be sick if I could paint over it to get a glossy piano blackOriginally Posted by nbarkins
