I used a metal pipe from a chain link fence before. Just wrap the pipe in duct tape to protect the paint and you're good to go. The metal pipe won't deflect like the plastic pipe.

you shouldn't have any problems with that setup judging from other iforged setups i've seen. I have DPEs which has a pretty aggressive offset. i'm also running 285/30/20 tires.

Did it this weekend using a combination of 3"/2" ABS and a maglight wraped in painter's tape. Pretty easy and no cracking, and I got alot of clearance. Didn't get a completely flat roll but enough to clear my tires upon full compression
