I've searched a lot on this and found a lot of useful information but still couldnt find this last part of my question. TIA for any help.

I found a good deal on unrevised 350z springs and shocks, just curious if I should just get the springs or both. I know the springs are a direct swap and the spring rates will match up with my current shocks, just curious is to whether or not changing the shocks will A) fit and B) offer any more improvements over G35 oem shocks.

Short answer is to say, only buy the 03 springs. If your going to buy oem Z shocks get 04.5+ ONLY.

 

Thanks Gsedan35 I was able to find a lot of what I wanted to know from your posts. Like I said I did a search, but IMO the search feature on this forum isn't as good as it could be since you can't use +, and, or etc. functions.

 

i did both because the person sold it as a set cheap...the z struts were meant to be compressed for the z spring rate...

 

Yeah, that's the situation I'm in. Someone offered up the springs and struts really cheap. Are you happy with them, or are you noticing any negative effects of the swap like excessive bounce or porposing?
