Some sample brake temps after hard braking
I know some of you are also concerned with the current brake bias, when making BBK buying decisions. I bought an infrared thermometer and did some hard braking and this is what I found. I got a little carried away, my first read was around 820degrees, and my anti-rattle goo started to cook out (now my front left squeeks...dammit). But here's one snapshot.
Front left 750 Front right 720
Rear left 480 Rear right 520
So our cars do still have quite a bit of front bias built in...and logic would indicate a Stoptech on the front (shifting some bias rearward) would be OK. That said, I still may go with the Wilwood 4 corner BBK. I've got an 03 sedan, stock brakes, they were in good shape since I just got the front rotors/pads replaced for the last time under the brake replacement program.

Im not sure of your testing methodologies, but if you are interested to see what our results were when doing our 350Z/G35 kit testing, it is listed here:

Thanks for sharing. What was your testing procedure? Just curious. Speaking of brake bias I used this web page to try to figure out static brake bias.

I came up with around 63% Front 37% Rear on a stock '03/04 non-brembo G.

Go fast, brake hard, repeat (I said it was a sample). I'd have to break out my Thermo textbook for a more scientific methodogy (but I guess I can't, having just tossed it after not using it for 20 years), but the rear temp is about 65% of the front, which may or may not be completely representative of bias.
