If you get a lower plenum like the Kinetix SSV, will a strut bar for the 350Z fit on a G?

No. The 350z strut bar bolt holes will not line up to the G35. I believe the shape of the actual strut towers on the G are slightly different as well.

The link that aHero4Eternity has is for a 350Z front straut bar. I think Stillen only has a read straut bar for G35 not a front bar.

Anybody know if the ARC or VRT strut bar will fit over a 5/16 spacer w/ engine cover?

The VRT STB will fit with any aftermarket plenum /plenum spacer. You will need to modify the engine cover if you decide to use one, and yes it will, and does work on the 06's

As far as the ARC brace , pretty sure it will not, good luck with that thing though.

What kind of modification to the cover is necessary? A 350z cover won't do? Is this b/c of clearance issues w/ the hood? On the link to Arc's product, it shows it clearing the stock g35 engine cover. Is there that little clearance available that would not allow a 5/16 spacer as well?

For the VRT STB, you will need to notch out the area of the plastic engine cover where the bar runs across. Like this........

The ARC will alow you to run an engine cover with the brace but you will have problems fittting the engine cover on with the spacer, and then the BRACE will not fit.
I am pretty sure the ARC brace will not acomidate a plenum spacer.

And , Yes, there realy is that little of room under the hood of these cars.

Does anyone know for sure? 100% possitive the answer to whether or not an ARC will fit with a 5/16 spacer (w/o engine cover, of course).

Wow, so the arc can clear an engine cover, but not a 5/16 space w/ no engine cover and the VRT can accomadate a spacer but not an engine cover w/out modification? Is a spacer that much thicker than the engine cover when its on? Is it possible to buy that custom carbon fiber engine cover that was posted on the pic w/ the VRT?

Hes "pretty sure", but hes not 100% sure about the ARC fitting with a 5/16 spacer.

Does anyone know for sure, whether or not an ARC will fit with a 5/16 spacer?
