i have an '03 coupe 6mt , and there is a loud clicking noise when i intially start moving my car off of first, or reverse. it just clicks away as im moving , and i hear it from the rear area of the car, from the wheels. one of my friends with a 350 said its some bolt on the axle, and his is being replaced soon. any one have similar problems? stuff like that should be covered under warranty right

It's very likely the ABS self check. Take a look in your owner's manual and see if what you hear matches the description there. If it's not that, there is a TSB for clicking from the rear axle: http://www.infinitihelp.com/ownershi.../ITB05-002.htm

Your dealer should be able to tell the difference. Is your '03 still under warranty?

There is a TSB out for the rear axle clicking. I had infiniti fix the same problem on my car from that TSB. It took them 2 visits though, the 2nd time I actually printed out the TSB and gave it to the service manager. That did the job!
Check this out:
