Just get some springs - Tein S Tech's are what I have getting installed tomorrow.

It will improve handling a bit but will also increase the wear on your tires unless you get a camber kit as well. It also looks better.

It costs like $150-200 for springs and then install can be like $100-200 unless you know the owner of the shop which I do

^ or you can install them yourself. however, if youre asking what lowering a car does, id guess that you dont know how to do the work yourself, so.. yeah.. have them installed!

downside: if you dont be careful youll scrape..a lot

so just be aware when you go in or out of driveways and dips

but yes it does improve handling

you can also get coilovers..but thatll cost you a pretty penny

The only benefit to lowering your car on H-techs or S-techs is going from a 3-finger wheel gap (stock) to a 2-finger gap (or slightly less with the S-techs). You won't improve the handling until you upgrade the dampers. In most cases, you'll actually worsen it - e.g. the S-techs. A pitiful 274lb spring in the rear, body lean and bounciness galore as well as tirewear if you don't do anything about aligning it back to factory specs.

Do it right for the first time. Don't get springs - get coilovers.
Stock shocks will die sooner with shorter springs ... car will be bouncing like a ~!@#%.
