Loud Noises!
Loud Noises!
The other day I was driving in traffic and ran over a small piece of wood with my two left tires. It was such a jolt to the car it knocked the radar detector off the window. As I accelerated to over 35 and up I noticed there was more "road noise" than before. It doesn't pull right or left. There is no vibration in the steering wheel or pedals. The only symptom I have is more road noise. I checked the wheel weights and they're still on. I figure I either knocked the alignment out or broke some cords or belts in the tire (it is not leaking). I doubt the dealer will do anything for me since it's not likely that tire balancing or alignments are a warranty item. So I guess I'll pull the left two wheels and have them rebalanced (modern wheel machines can tell if a rim is bent, bad tire, etc). If that doesn't do anything I'll have the alignment done. Is there anything else you "smart guys" think I should do or take a look at? Thanks for the help
