Stock Sport Pkg shock life?
Can anybody chime in and post how long their stock sports pkg shocks lasted? I'm at 35k now and it seems like the shocks are going. Noticing less body control the past 7k or so. Also:
- Anybody have them replaced under warranty? (Hey, if it's free, why not?)
- What's the best replacement shock that will keep the stock handling?
I tried searching and was unsuccessful. Sorry if this has been discussed before.

shock life really depends on how you use it... how you drive, road conditions,
gross weight of car, etc.
i recommend the TokicoD-Specs and set them up at 5 turns from full
hard. that'll be stock-like feel. then you can dial it in to your preference.
i would assume most sports shocks will be toast by 50k miles on stock
springs.

Based on J30/Q45 history all oem shocks were done after 4 years or 60k. The rear rebound stiffess and self expansion [nitrogen precharge] goes away first.
You begin to feel something different at 2 years 30k but the rear wallow gets progressively worse.
Owners get use to the slow change so they really don't notice much until they replace shocks then WOW viva la difference.
