ok i have had my G for several months now and i need to do something new. Im set on new rims and have been searching for along time. at first i was working with a price range but now i dont care cause its only $$ and can be made again right? So with that in mind i have found some rims i saw on an insane Z and i want them bad.. my ? is what color do u think would go best with my IP coupe? thanks guys i appreciate your opinions and will help me decide..

i say chrome.. the chrome refelction off the lip looks so nice.. and it blends with the car more.. black really stands out.. i say go chrome.. so nice

 

I vote chrome. I don't like black wheels on white cars.

BTW those wheels are hot!

 

depends on what kind of look your going for.......if you go black you have to go limo tint, cf hood, cf trunk, and so on

 

go chrome - black makes too big a contrast, chrome looks more clean

 

im stuck between the 2.. trying to keep it real clean less is more look but with nice mods..

chrome: like the classy luxury look of the wheels and the shine is sick with the lip.. flows well with the white car...

black: kind of a tuner look i like but also goes well with my color car and my dark tint.. paint a couple aero parts black on the rear bumper set it off nicely.. anyone have any pics of nice clean ip's with black/chrome rims to contrast with thanks

Go with the black. But get glossy black rims, I dont really like the look of the flat black. It might look better if it is actually on the car but I am not feeling it.

I want to go the same route as you. I want an IP with black rims and I am going to black out the tail lights, get overlays for the front and get all the logos on the car in black chrome.

There are some pictures on this site with what you are looking for you just have to look for them.

 

Chrome all the way. Those wheels are made to be chrome. Black would not do them justice. I have black chrome Gt7s on my car and love them. Classy yet till sporty. Either way though, those are some sweet looking rims

umm best price i could find jumping in a group buy from a lexus board is $2850 for just the rims!!!

Which ever way you go it will look a ton better than those stock 18's. You can't go wrong with black though.

 

lol this poll really isnt helping me much.. 21/21 perfect split so far.. haha exactly how im feeling! it would be better if i could see the wheels on the car.. anyone really good at photoshopping? id greatly appreciate it..

Personally, I am not a big fan of chromed wheels. However, those wheels in chrome would look fantastic on your IP coupe.
