Clicking noise
I had new Stillen metal matrix pads and slotted rotors put on my rear a month or so ago. I also put the 6-pot Willwood BBK up front. Shortly after the rears were put on by my local mechanic, who also adjusted the drum parking brake on both wheels, I have developed a random metallic click at low speeds. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for all the help guys!
So I took the G to the dealer yesterday about the GD clicking noise. I took a test drive with one of the mechanics and made sure he heard what I was hearing. I also asked to have my clock light replaced as one of the lights was burnt out. So..... after several hours without hearing from the Stealership, I called them up and asked WTF? "You aren't going to belive this, Mr. Cato....... We spent over three hours looking at everything and have determined the sound is coming from within the rear tire. There is something within the tire making the noise." Holy ****! NTB mounted new Michelin Pilot Sport tires on my car a couple of months ago and must have dropped a balancing weight in the tire before they mounted it! The Stealership charged me 1 hour labor for this bit of information. They also charged me $14 per bulb for my clock light. times two. $28 for 2 clock light bulbs. Oh God...... why me?

I would have guessed the rear axle clicking problem. But damn, something inside the tire!
You should go get the problem in writing from the stealership and go to the tire place and have them reimburse you for that mistake. Good luck.

Took the sedan back to NTB, who sold me the new Michelin Pilot Sport/AS tires. As soon as the tire came off the rim, I peered into the tire. SURE ENOUGH!!!!! There was a silver nut sitting in the tire. It came off the valve stem. There were two nuts on the valve stem. The second one was for good measure
and must have came loose.
So the manager came out and started discussing this situation. I told him Infiniti charged me 1 hour labor for the information and asked him for $100 off two new Michelin Pilot Sport AS for the front. I had two older Pirelli PZeros up front and two new Michelins on the rear. So the guy says, I'll knock $75 off a pair for you. Sold!
The car rides like a dream with the 4 new Michelins now. At least I was able to recover some of the cost.
Slackers!
