Wheel Size = loss of performance

Sitting with the rays stock 19" wheels .

Performance gain or loss if i were to go to 18x9.5 all around? Or what is my best tire size for performance and not compromising look?

I'm looking into gettin a two-step mesh wheel, and the sizing they have wont let me stagger them at 9.5 x 10.5 rear.

Looking to get most performance for very agressive street driving. Thanks!

It would be very difficult to improve on the factory forged lightweight 19s. Your 18s would also have to be forged. ie.. Z track 18s, Volks or other similar forged wheels (read expensive). Going that wide might help corning but it might also hurt 1/4 performance as the wheels will get heavy at 9.5-10.5" wide. So would a tire that would fit that wide of a wheel

They will be forged (iforged, jline, still figuring things out) but would 20's cause to much of a weight problem, especially with tires?

I don't know. How much do the wheels/tires weigh?
