Kinetix or Stillen camber/toe kit?
hey everyone,
getting my stock Pilots changed out to Toyo's this weekend due to major rear wheel wear on inner tread. (will post pictures later of tire showing pretty scary chunks of tread missing exposing some radial..lol)
anyway, I have Hotchkis sport springs which drops car only 0.75" maybe but definitely worsens negative camber. car rides really nice though. i'm thinking I want to bring closer to specs with camber arms and/or toe.
my question is Kinetix has a camber/toe kit for $349. Stillen has their camber/toe kit for $749. is the stillen that much better/stronger to jusitfy the $400 difference? I know stillen often overprices some of their parts...although i've had good experiences with them in the past.
secondly, do I need the toe arm as well or just the camber arm? or would it be better with both? camber and toe angle explanations always confuse me. I know someone posted a really informative thread about camber and toe last year sometime.
any input? thanks in advance....

ok....so with a 1" or less drop, one would need only to use an aftermarket camber rod and stock toe rod. if there is more than a 1" drop, you may need an aftermarket toe rod in addition to a camber rod.
would there be any benefit to use the aftermarket toe rod anyway or would that be overkill and a waste of money?
ken, was there a reason why you went with the stillen camber rod vs. a cheaper kinetix, spc or whatever camber rod? what led you to the stillen choice?
btw, I am talking only the rears, NOT the A camber for the front...
thanks, doc

well, 2 reasons why i went with the stillen.
1. i was looking for a high quality product with heim joints.
2. readily available at www.ultimatez.com which is like 25min from where im at.
