Can I use car wax to clean my Volks?

Can I use regular car wax (turtle wax, black magic, etc.) to wax the lips on my volk sf challenges?

you must not clan your volks.

i'm sure wax is fine. i just bought WHEEL WAX, and to me it looks and smells just like regular wax.

someone should try wheel wax on one side and regular car wax on the other. i haven't driven the car since the wheel was was put on, but i hope it works.

Wheel wax is just a synthetic polymer sealant, much like zaino, megs #20/21, klasse etc. Any of those will give you similar performance, just make sure its a synthetic sealant, and not a carnuaba based wax since it won't be able to withstand the heat produced by the brakes.
