I ordered a set of black S55, the first set were chipped,it wasn't painted all the way to the edge, the lip was dented and had over spray on it. The second set were worst than the first set. JUST IMAGINE!!

Really? That is extremely weird. I purchased a set of Sevas S-55 Black w/ Chrome lip and it was in absolute MINT PERFECT CONDITION. No chips, no scratches, no dings, nothing. The set arrived at my place super fast and I am extremely happy with them and from what I read on the forums, there were a ton of others who purchased them and were super happy with them as well, this is a first. Not to mention, the ride is awesome. Who did you purchase them from?

Same here, I got a set of Sevas S-7 from AutoMotiveMods as well and it was MINT. Did you try calling your friend and exchanging it for a new set?
You said you ordered your set from eurotrend.
Are they a site sponsor here at g35driver.com?

Ditto. I ordered mine from automotivemods, came in perfect, mint condition. I love every bit about them, I highly recommend them.

Thats odd, I have the S55 Wheel on my car and it looks Sick!!!!!!! I guess there is always a few bad apples in every bunch. I get compliments all day on the wheels and really happy with the out come. I give Sevas Wheels
Thumbs UP! Sucks you had a bad experience.

Those wheels are decent for a one piece. The finish and detail is pretty good. FWIW, you're gonna have similar problems with any one piece wheels from time to time. Axis for example has a batch of the HIROS that were cracking at the spokes sometime ago.
Is it true that the S-55's only weigh 26-28lbs for 20's?
Those are the numbers that automotivemods just gave me and they seem like a good shop. I just find it hard to believe they are so light at that price.

We just had them weighed on several different scales for exact numbers as requested. The Sevas S-55 is 26lbs F and 28.5lbs R. The reason for them being as light as they are is because they are Injected. See, most wheels are gravity Injected which makes for a heavier wheel. These wheels are low pressure Injected from the bottom up which in turn makes a lighter and stronger wheel. Thank You.
