I just replaced my OEM Brembo pads with Project Mu NS pads (front and rear). I freakin' HATE the dusting from the OEM pads...my wheels are filthy a day after I wash my car. OEM pads were down to about 8mm or so, not to the wear indicator yet but getting close.
After I finished the install I took my car out for a test drive and some brake bedding, I found a road with no traffic and did a series of stops from 25-5, 35-5, 45-5 etc. without coming to a complete stop on any of them. I then drove around a bit, trying to use my brakes only when I had to in order to let them cool down. Everything feels fine, the car stops great so far. So now to the question: I notice my front rotors have a blue-ish line about 1/4 inch wide, right about the outside edge of each front rotor (I changed pads only, not rotors). It's the same on both front rotors. Is this something I should be concerned with, or just a result of new pads and maybe some slight variations they have from the OEM pads?
