Which potenza's are you comparing? There's multiple tires in the Potenza line.

Alright, well then you're stuck between the Potenza's and the BFG's because the Pilot's cost way more than both these tires just because they're OEM.

The Potenza is going to last a little bit longer than the BFG's but the BFG's are going to grip/handle a little bit better.

The RE050A PP is an assymetrical tire so you can only mount it one way. The only downfall with that is that the G35 has problems with negative camber so you wont be able to side-to-side rotate the tires.

The BFG's are directional so you can side-to-side rotate them after about 10-15,000 miles to get more life out of them. It will cost a little bit of money to pay a shop to rotate them this way but would be well worth it in saving the life of the tire.

^ that was VERY helpful! thanks a lot!
i guess i should have mentioned that my lease expires in a year and a month so i'm not extremely concerned with tread wear.. im more interested in grip since i do plan on tracking my car

you cant side-side rotate those tires?! i dont understand why you couldnt. its not like the rotation of the tire would be any different.

Edit: nevermind you cant rotate them side to side. i just looked at pictures get s03s! they dont suffer from this downfall.

I had a set of these tires on my 300ZXT and they
lasted 10K.....for what they cost this sucked. If
you read the sidewall of these tires you'll notice
the wear rating reads 140. Even drag radials have
a rating of 160....you know how they wear. Michelin's
have a rating of 240 so that should get you somewhere around 30K miles plus the grip is good in
rain.....kinda important.

Like i told you in the other thread... You CAN NOT compare tread wear ratings between different brands of tires. And you certainly cant compare a radial tire's tread rating with a Drag tire's tread rating. Please read into what you're posting before you do.

You have a turbo 300zx... how long do you expect the tires to last?!?

I agree, i have had 2 sets of S0-3's on my sedan and they're the best tire i've ever driven on. Too bad they got discontinued

I don't think they were talking about the S03s but i do agree, the S03s are awesome tires by far the best in the Bridgestone line up. Their only downfall is their weight. they really are "stones" but they'll turn even your sister's corrolla in to a "Canyon Carving G Machine" lol

HaHa, i only got 14k miles out of my S03's even with rotating them. I'll be going staggered with new wheels next month so the RE01R would only last me about 8k miles on the rear. If i flip the tires i might get 12k out of them. I'll probably go with the RE750
