Hi everyone, I just ordered a set of chrome Ruff Racing 277's 19 inch with Hankook 245/35/19, 275/30/19 for my '05 RWD DG sedan. Next thing I'm going to get are new springs and possibly shocks but I'm new to this area. I would like to have the stance of my G reasonably low (without looking silly/ghetto). How low can I get away with and what springs will do the trick?

The lowest springs for the sedan i beleive are the Tein S-techs 2" in the front and 1.3" in the rear. For a more even drop, the Eibach sportlines drop it 1.6" front and rear.

How much will lowering like this kill the comfort level of the ride? And will I have to do anything to avoid rubbing?

The rubbing depends on the offsets. If you just want to decrease the fender gap and dont want to spend too much money, i'd suggest going the route of a revised OEM 350Z suspension (springs and struts) It would only cost $150-$200 for springs and shocks, plus installation. That will lower your car 1" all the way around and give it a nice even look.

If you lower it more than 1.5" you'll start to feel the difference in the ride quality. You'll also see a decrease in tire life.

Mmmm, from reading around I think I may go with the Eibach Pro Kit for the sedan. Good choice? By the way I ordered +35 offsets all the way around for the Ruff's.

Will these be inline with the fenders or tucked? If tucked what size spacers will I need?
