Low padding alert on Hawk HPS?

I compared the brake pads from stock brembo on g35c to the hawk HPS that i got.. one big difference between the two is that Hawk pad didn't have the metal thingy that looked liek the part that makes the noise when pad thickness is getting low.. is the noise maker built into the pad? or is hawk pad missing a warning noise maker?

I believe that the wear indicator is built into the OEM pad. I've had 2 sets of Hawk HP+ pads and they both dont come with wear indicators.

It is not uncommon for aftermarket pads to not have any kind of wear indicators. You should have a fluid level based brake warning indicator that will let you know when the pads are low that you should be able to rely on. Top off the fluid with the new pads and dont add any more fluid. When the light comes on, that means the pads are worn and need to be changed.
