lowered on hks rs - camber kit?

My car is lowered because I installed the hks rs on it. It's dropped 20mm from stock front and 10mm from stock rear. Do i need a camber kit for this? If I do, to what height should i adjust it so that i don't need camber kit?i.e what is the max drop i can do without the need of a camber kit.

to maxamize tire life, youll want a camber kit no matter what. but typically, with a 1" drop you can get back into specs.

note: getting back into spec should not be confused with maxamizing tire life though

its a 0.8 inch drop front and 0.4 drop rear.
The tire life wouldn't differ that much would it if I got it properly aligned. I really don't wanna use a camber kit because I've read lots of bad things about them.

You should probably be fine.

BTW--how is the RS? I was about to get that and went with Tokicos and Z springs instead because of the price difference.

The RS looked like the best coilover out there IMO.

.2-.3" in the front and .3-.5" in the rear to get barely back into specs. Front camber isn't adjustable and only slighty in the rear. Almost any drop is going to require a camber kit in the front, but alot of people live with the front camber because the rear tires wear faster anyways. Just get a rear SPC camber kit, I've never heard of anyone having issues with it, the worst that can happen is the eccentric bolts can shift over time, but the stocks do that too.

the fronts are not adjustable. the rears have a little room for adjustment.

you can get into specs (in the rear) with a 1" drop or less. but that doesn't mean youll get the best/most out of your tires. to do that, youll want to get in the middle of the specs. for explanatory purposes only, let's say within specs are 0 and 1. you can get into spec at .9 but to get optimal tire life youll want to be at .5

or so i understand. lol

I don't think you'll get back into specs with a 1" drop in the rear, most people with s-techs have already confirmed it. Heck, most people with h-techs barely get back into specs, and the drop is only like .5"

+1. You need a chamber kit whenever you lower your car period. There is no safe lowered stance that doesn't require one.
