Today I installed the rear shocks/springs from a 06 Z with 900 miles. Originally I was running coupe springs in the rear with oem sport shocks. I must say the car handles much better with just the rear suspension upgraded. I will install the front struts and springs tomorrow. Car doesn't squat nearly as much on acceleration with the stiffer spring rates, high speed cornering seems alot more controlled. Before it felt as if the rear was "floating". I take it that was from the oem shocks not able to dampen probably with the shorter springs. The ride height remained almost the same as the coupe springs, maybe .5" lower. Before I could get 2 fingers between the top of the tire and the fender. Now I get only the tips of two fingers under the fender. I will report back after I get the front suspension components installed. But at this point I don't see where I will be disappointed. I say this upgrade is the one of the best "poor mans" suspension upgrades available.

How much u pay for the 350z springs? How long it take to finish, and what was the level of difficulty

I paid $199+tax for my set (front coilovers & rear shock/springs) from the Nissan Dealership. They were removed from an 06 350Z that had a Nismo kit put on it.

It's hard to find brand new 350z or G35 coupe springs so most of us have purchased them used springs pretty much last for ever so there's no concern. You just have to make sure you are getting the springs you want and check the dot colors on the springs. Price should be no more than $100 dollars from a private seller. As far as difficulty in installing it took the shop I took my car to about 45 minutes to install my springs. If you want spring and shocks from a 350z get a set that's already mounted on the shocks if you can find them. Installation is 10X faster and safer all the techs (or yourself) has to do is take your tires off, remove your spring shock all in one and pop the 350z springs shock right in and that's it. No spring compressors etc... all done.

Yes, the installation if very straight forward if you don't have to remove the springs from the front struts. It took me about 30mins to install rear shocks and springs. Shouldn't take any longer than 1hr to do the front. I will post some pics when I'm done.

In the rear it seem as if the shocks and the springs are separate. Am I correct? How does that work out when it comes time to installing both the shock and spring. I know that the front comes as shock and spring on a sleeve but the rear is kind of different. Can you please explain more?

it took about one hour to do my springs. The rear took 10 minutes. I work at a dealership so that kinda helped the process.

front suspension installed today in about 30-45mins, spent more time waiting on UPS than anything. pics as requested, I normally take better pics, but it was getting dark and I was in a hurry, so enjoy the rolling shot . but you get the idea and the ride height hardly changed in the rear in comparison to the coupe springs. the ride is much firmer, which is a good thing.

Wow looks like your springs are going to have to do a lot of settling before they are down to tight two finger gaps.

trust me, I can't get two fingers completely in the rear and two fingers snug up front.
