Pics of OEM 2004 6MT springs next to 350Z H Techs, 350Z S Techs and 350Z OEM revised

Gold springs are H Techs, Green springs are S Techs.

Drop is def. more in the rear for the S Techs, but the fronts don't look too different.

the s-techs drop a considerable amount in the front compared to the oem's... ur looking at about 1.2" in the front... its a little too low for my taste so im switching out to the 350z h-techs

you also need to remember that the tein s-techs are progressive where as the 350z springs are linear... the s-techs are going to settle a little more then the Z springs.

You know, I've seen pics of before and afters with these spring upgrades and I truly can tell a bit of difference between OEM and the 'upgrade'.

Does anyone have a really GOOD before and after...most I see are different angles, which makes it extremely hard to get a good idea of the "Drop".

Thanks!

Final pictures:

Springs on the left are 2004 6MT rear springs.

On the right are 350Z revised rear springs. Not much of a drop at all!

I got myself a pair of 350Z S-Techs, the H-techs are just not worth the money if you ask me, not enough of a drop. If anything, Ill get the camber kit for the rear...

You will need the camber kit in the rear with the 350Z S Techs. The SPC kit put me back in perfect alignment. The 350Z S Techs are definately the way to go!

Yeah im not going to bother with the front...the cost is way up there and regardless if theres a lil neg camber, the rears will wear out much more quickly, so Ill just take care of the rear. Besides, Neg camber = better handling

I am actually running 350Z OEM revised springs in the front and 350Z Tein S Techs in the rear! The OEM Z springs lower the front pretty well and I am just about in alignment with those springs--the only thing that was out of spec was my right front camber at -1.52 degrees, off from the -1.25 degree spec. My front left is -1.11, in spec. Go figure.... Everything else is in spec, but barely.

So, I don't think I am going to bother changing the front springs since it looks like the Z springs seem to drop the front similar to the S Techs and they have just about the same spring rates as the S Techs.

Just change to the h-techs in the front and you'd probably get a pretty even drop front and rear, and you also will get the stiffer springs in the rear from the s-techs
