I'm surprised that soo many of you think the G has a poor turning radius. I'd put it at about average in that regard compared to the other cars I've driven or owned. I've certainly never had problems pulling into parking spots with it due to turning radius, which I used to have happen whenever I drove my parents old Dodge Shadow.

It certainly doesn't compare to like a Nissan 240SX or anything though.

Do you have to dramaticly redo your front-end allignment once installing this setup in order for the front wheels to not toe way in?

I work at a dealership and have driven countless cars, and believe me, it is below average in terms of turning radius. Most cars its size can just about perfectly make a u-tern on an average residential street, but my G would need about an extra 6 feet of room to do that.

It's not bad but could be better. This might be a nice mod for some of us.

so it will turn around faster with that rod? Sure looks like a mod Im looking for. A cheap alternative to replacing the steering rack, I know the falken drift car has a toyota steering rack because our stock one doesn't hack it.

btw how much is it?

It will turn around in a smaller space. They are $130 I think plus shipping. You just have to change them out for your stock tie rods and cut down the steering stops.

Sounds awesome. Will you provide your camber and toe information when you are done with your drift setup? I have both from control arm and rear camber toe arms, but they are just at stock settings. Kinda useless if you ask me.

I cant believe everyone thinks the turning radius is that bad. Drive a 2G dsm.... need a full 3 lanes to make a u turn. By far the worst turning radius i've driven. G's seem to have a normal turning radius to me.

Im not setting the G up for drift thats what the rx-7 is for, Im not baller enough to strip my new G and have a clunky 2-way and have a cage with side bars welded in Alignment will be close to stock numbers.
