I posted this in the Brakes and Suspension section, but I guess it should be here since it involves wheels and tires, too.
I just got oem 19s with 235/35 F and 245/45 R installed and as soon as I got in the car to drive off I noticed my brakes felt much better. I had noticed in the past couple of months that my brakes were getting way too soft. I had the oem sedan sport 18s prior to this. Now it feels like brand new again. Any ideas as to why this is?

I think the OEM 19" are also lighter than the OEM 18" wheels. So combine a lighter wheel and newer/better tire with tread CAN improve braking and it's feel.
That was my guess too, but I still can't figure out how that would give my brake pedal a nice stiff feel to it. I could understand that it would stop better though.

I don't see how that is possible outside of changing pads, fluid or bleeding your brakes.
