dropped on 17"s

I know I know I have the damn 17" in my car. I'm saving up to get some after market wheels by end of the summer.

Today I saw another DG coupe with 17"s. He stopped next to me and the wheel gap was less. I searched but couldnt find anyone with 17 and dropped with certain springs.

This is a sample pic how his car was dropped:

thats what i am guessing. The red line is where his fender was in line with.

Im guessing most of ppl say 350z H-TECH but I want to know exactly what will give me a drop with out any issues such as camber, tire wire out and shock damage.

As i posted in the begining im broke so now money on buying a coilover.

thanks in advance

this is my g with stock 17s and 350z h techs.

as you can see, the drop in the rear is minimal.

damn, that nismo bumper brings back some gooooood memories!

other than that, my g was relatively stock

Hmmmmmmm

but the DG i saw today it was evenly balanced in the front and rear.

I read your specs about H tech and the subtile drop.

How was the ride with the H-tech with 17''. would you thing it will drop more or considering S-tech would be a better choice.

Also lowering too much on my wheel might give me too much negetive camber.

i loved the drop in the front that i got with them.

but if i had to do it all over again, i would go with s techs if i didnt want too much neg camber.

the ride was okay...the 17s helped the ride a lot.

so you are saiying I would be ok with the S-tech on my car. and an allingment would make it closer to the stock spec.

or are you saying you didnt go with the s-tech because of too much negetive camber

lol I am confused

i only know ONE person with s techs that got back into spec. chances are you will not get back into spec with s techs tho.

originally, i didnt get s techs b/c i didnt want to deal with camber issues. but now i have coilovers and have to deal with it anyway.
