spc rear camber installation

just wondering if there were any "how to" step by step instructions on how to install the rear spc camber kit? I'm not a real 'handy' guy, so i hope someone knows of how to do it easily w/ lots of pics.

did the search, but couldn't find it. thanks for the help.

What are you dropped on?

it is pretty simple....take off your old lower arms.....set the SPC arms to the same length as your stockers.

Then, install them! Also, you'll need to grind or dremel out the toe bolt holes in the chassis. you need to elongate tham toward the center of the car.

It is a pretty simple task, but if you are not "handy," don't start with this project!

also, you'll need a jack , and at least 1 jack stand. Air tools (impact gun) help alot too. Some of the bolts/nots are really tight.

You probably don't need the rear SPC camber kit if you have a 1 inch drop those of us with a 1 inch drop were able to get our camber, toe brought back into spec with out the rear camber kit but we did need the front camber kit. So question is what springs do you have or plan to get?...

So did you end up installing the front kit you bought? Did you find out how out of spec. the front is w/ the z-springs? I'll be putting the z-springs on in 2 months and won't be installing a front kit....will I be asking for trouble?

I found that the rear wears excessively with a 1" drop while the front barely wears at all.

I installed the spc rear kit and all is well now.....additionally, the SPC rear kit eliminated the axle hop that the LSD cars get (sport susp. equipped). also, I have so much more traction with the rear properly aligned ( no camber lean)!!!

Yeah you do need the front camber kit I didn't need the rear though as far as how far out of spec they gave me my specs and it's not pretty. I paid 320 bucks for the SPC front camber kit on eBay check them out.

What springs are you running? I had eibach and I would have needed both front and rear camber kits.

The camber arms are easy, making the holes larger for the toe bolts is a bit of a pain but my exhaust got in the way.

Its fairly simple to install them. Its just taking out the old ones and putting the new ones in. I watched my guy puttingmine on the whole time. You need to loosen up the sways to elongate the toe bolts. Get a dremmel to do that. This is really the only problem. You need to take off the springs to o the toe mod, but as far as the camber arm its really simple.
I dropped my car on 350 z h techs and my alignment is off in both front and rear, but only got the rear kit, i can live with the fronts being out of spec.

well, im sitting on tein basics and i can clearly see that the rear is way too bad. i dont know about the front. can i take it to discount tires or American Tires Co. and have them align it and install my camber kit? and how much am i expecting to pay?

even if its simple i dont want to mess it up...knowing me...i might.

Take your car into West End in Gardena for install/alignment..The guy's name is Darrin..his number is 310-808-9233. He only works by appointments and if you do make an appointment, don't be late. He also installed my spc rear camber kit w/toe bolts and I forgot the price but was pretty decent and he did an excellent job.

I didn't need to move my sway bar to modify the holes.
