Frankenstein Setup

I currently have the un-revised 350z setup on my G35 04 sedan. I just bought some REVISED shocks (all 4) will these work w/ my unrevised springs? How will this effect my springs? Will this cause it to blow out? I know it has different springs rates.

they will work but it will cause the shocks to wear faster than normal since you are running it not within the original specs...

Really? Why would it effect the shocks? The rear shocks support up to 427 & the unrevised rears spring rate is 342, wouldn't this take out the springs faster than the shocks? Shouldn't the shocks have no abuse?

Totally 100% a non issue, zero to worry about, I recommend the change.

Front spring rates are the same for all years of oem 350Z springs. In the rear, the revised shocks are perfectly at home with the softer springs from the unrevised 350Z suspension (342 vs 427).

How things will be different. The shocks are softer then the one's your pulling out and this will translate into a softer overall feel. The pay off will be in much better ride control as in a lot less bounce and freeway porposing. Even though the car will feel softer, you'll be able to carry more speed around your favorite corner because of the better rebound control.
