You shouldn't need longer studs with a 3mm spacer.

^ no, you're correct in a way imo. if you get spacers that require longer studs, but choose not to add the studs..........that means u aint going fast!!!!!!

Fasteners in general need xx amount of thread engagement in order to achieve the correct amount of clamping strength. I forget but I believe you need at LEAST 6-7 turns of the lug nut in order to get any type of safety(it's probably 2x that amount).

I've read too many stories about the 240sx crowd putting on huge spacers to get that drifto look. Only to lose a wheel around a corner and crash. Numnutz

If you are going to do a spacer... IMHO its not worth it unless its 10mm or larger...

The Hubcentric spacers with Hubcentric wheel bore extension do not start till 10mm...

if you put on a cookie cutter spacer, your just asking for problems...

Jason, if you want to suggest that great, but you should also advise people to use new/longer studs also. Just a thought

I think he did by telling people to use 10mm or larger spacers since only those have extended studs
