My Alignment Specs on my drop

I just had my Megan Racing coilovers, Stillen Sways, and SPC F&R Camber kits installed this weekend thanks to Josh (anotheraznguy). Got an alignment from Wheel Works in Fremont, Ca for $95 (1 year warranty).

Here are my specs after the alignment on Sat:

Front
Camber - Left: 0 / Right: 0.1
Caster - Left: 8.9 / Right: 8.8
Toe - Left: 0.04 / Right: 0.04
Rear
Camber - Left: -1.4 / Right: -0.6
Toe - Left: 0.03 / Right: 0.14

For some reason, they could not get the rear left into spec and said they tried everything. I was watching them do and the tech was getting frustrated. But anyways, so the spacers were installed and I got the slip, vdc, & ABS error so Josh uninstalled the spacers for me and the error message went away. So I went to Wheel Works in Daly City today (Monday) to get another alignment.

Here's my before alignment specs but after the spacers were taken off:

Front
Camber - Left: -1.6 / Right: -2.5
Caster - Left: 8.9 / Right: 8.9
Toe - Left: 0.18 / Right: 0.40
Rear
Camber - Left: -0.9 / Right: -0.7
Toe - Left: 0.22 / Right: 0.47

I had them align my car to the coupe specs for the better handling. Here are alignment specs after the alignment (note the fronts are not in spec and I will explain why after I post the specs):

Front
Camber - Left: -1.3 / Right: -2.6
Caster - Left: 8.9 / Right: 8.9
Toe - Left: 0.07 / Right: 0.02
Rear
Camber - Left: -1.5 / Right: -1.6
Toe - Left: 0.12 / Right: 0.15

So the Wheel Works in Daly City made me wait 4 hrs before they even got to my car before they put it up and tell me that it was an additional $85 per axle to adjust aftermarket camber kits; and this is after I told them I was on aftermarket suspension. Remember, this was supposed to be done under warranty but they said that that was how it was supposed to be done in the beginning. But they adjusted the toe for me (how nice of them <sarcasm alert>). So I guess I will be making a trip back down to Fremont Wheel Works for them to adjust my front cambers.

I am dropped with a two finger gap in the front and a half finger tuck in the rear. So anyways, don't go to the Wheel Works in Daly City (Skyline Plaza).

The rears are about dead center spec. Your right front is . . . Well, you know. I just had Mach III/Faxon (S.F.) do my alignment this past Saturday and they did an excellent job in short time. There was no additional charge for aftermarket suspension and/or camber kit(s). Good luck to you when you go back to Fremont. Let us know how it goes.

Edit: You have a 2 finger gap up front?

Well I'm sure that Fremont Wheel Works will do it for me since they adjusted my aftermarket camber kits in the first place. Yea I have a 2 finger gap up front. My rear is tucked about 1 finger.

Should I lower my front about half an inch more? I am just riding on stock 17's for now. I'm not really into flashy wheels and body kits. Well, actually I'm just not really into paying the big bucks for them =).

I'm actually surprised how much taking off the spacers threw off my front alignment. From 0 to -1.6 on the left and 0.1 to -2.5 on the right. I thought the spacers only did 1 degree of camber adjustment.

I simply thought that since you had a coilover set-up that you would have lowered the front end a bit more . . . But then, you can do that at any time, now.

Yeah, I didn't know that wheel spacers had that much of an impact.
