05-06 Sedan Sports Suspension Different than 03-04?

Was there any changes made at all? I know the spring rates are the same but did the 05-06 get any changes to the shocks/valving or perhaps the chasis? I don't think they did but maybe I'm wrong.

Reason I ask is because I have my '04 6MT at the dealer today. I got an 05 or 06 AT loaner with the sport suspension. Right away when driving it I noticed the chasis felt more solid and the steering did feel tighter. The car didn't creak and groan and make popping noises in the interior like my car would going up a driveway to my work. Things just felt tighter and more composed compared to my car. The only suspension mods I have on my car at this point is Stillen sways, GT spec front and rear tie braces, and a ARC strut brace. I just couldn't beleive that this stock loaner felt better then my car. Could the relatively higher age and 4 days of track abuse of my car be the difference maker? Maybe bushings are more worn and the chasis isn't as strong as it used to be? I only have 43,000 miles on the car so far. Or is my mind playing tricks on me?
