Stick to name brand. Don't get some cheapo EBay rotor set because you get what you pay for. Infusion G35 has a group buy sale going right now for REALLY good prices on full sets. Slotted and Drilled. I haven't made up my mind yet, but I'll most def be going with the slotted... I've heard too many bad stories about drilled rotors cracking and warping and so forth.

Here is a link to his thread. I'm not sure whether you'll be able to see it or not if you're not a premier member though. https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-vendor/118646-brembo-rotors-fully-stocked-ready-go.html

Tell him I sent you

+1 on the name brand. You may be tempted to spend 1/2 on the cheap ones but you will regret it.

Exactly... Just look at the long threads on the R1 rotors with all the complaints and so forth... do it correctly the first time, so you won't regret it later on.

I just bought the Brembo drilled via the group buy. Price seemed reasonable, the rotors look amazing. I'll be installing them next week. From my understanding drilled and slotted are OK as long as they are manufactured that way and not done aftermarket. Word of warning, Brembo does not make a combination drilled/slotted rotor. These look hot but are done aftermarket.

With the Brembo rotors, you have the option of one-piece and two- pice rotors. It depends on what you want.

I think the Brembos are typically a little more expensive than Rotora which are really just as good.

per Tire Rack's recommendations...Drilled rotors are not intended for track use, use solid or slotted rotors for track purposes.

If you are just using the drilled for looks and on the street/ autocross, then you should be fine.
