?? QUESTION ??

Car: 2003.5 g35 coupe with sport susp

Planing on getting: tein basic kit, is that not the way to go?

Looking To Accomplish: The car to handle better around turns at higher speeds etc.....

BTW: I was planing on doing the Stilllen Sway Bar Set and Rear Strut Tower Brace.......If its worth it

As far a drop, If i do end up Dropping it, it would be 1" or less

dude just get the 350z h-techs. mine dropped around 0.6"/0.4"
Fairly conservative, but just enough to get rid some of the gap. Good luck with your decision.

But I don't care about drop as much as I care about performance, I need something that will hold it's drop and not drop A LOT more after they are broken in, and something that will give me comfort and handling not just look good dropped.
Basically what i'm asking for is the impossible, I'm asking for SPRINGS that perform nearly as good as coilovers.

i was in the same boat as you. i didnt know what to do...teins h-techs are a great set to get and are said not to sag more than .5mm. i almost went with them but wanted more of a drop. i then looked into the s-tech set up and eibach pros. after researching these springs i ran into swift springs. i went with the swifts after reading good stuff about them. ive also read good stuff about teins and eibach. i took the h-tech out of the picture because i didnt want to do the spring mount mod. i looked hard into the pro kit but went with swift because they are linear.

If drop isn't a big issue and you want springs that have higher than stock springrates, then you only real option is revised 350z springs, and cutting the rear springmount to even the drop. Most aftermarket springs were designed for the 03 coupe suspension, and thus are going to be softer in the rear with a few exceptions which require aftermarket shocks. Getting coilovers is your only other option.

that is a per side price, so you have to order 2. The eibach kit is much cheaper

With a few exceptions? Meaning there are some where i don't have to worry about them being softer than stock, which are they?
So if i get eibach pro kit for g35 with 20" wheels 20x10 rear and 275/30/20 tire, do you think i will have rubbing issues?
same with 350z h-techs, you think i will rub? which of the two would have higher than stock springrates?
thanks for your help

Tokico DSP-7 & Tanabe DF210

Hey guys. Just dropped in the suspension in this weekend. (THANKS RANDY!) I will be needing the camber kit for sure on this one! Just went to try to align the car and there is nothing the shop can do to get it back into spec without a camber kit! I love the ride! Much better than stock and the adjustability is great except the rears are a bit hard to get to. Here's a few pics for ya.

I'm also not sure what to do. I'm about to put 19" Ziniks on. And in a few months I want to go with either the kuruma or kenstyle front bumpers w/ greddy side skirts, and oem rear flaps (or whatever there called). I want to drop it now when i get the rims but then I don't want it to be too low when I get the kit. Any advice??
