Unhappy Help - Just installed Z/Coupe & Sport Suspension**Problem**

Yesterday I spent the day installing sports suspension and the Z/Coupe spring combo. Everything went well. Except now there is a noise coming from my front driver side tire that sounds like something is hitting as the tire rotates. As I go faster the sounds is faster. When I apply the brakes the noise goes away.

Is the car safe to drive? Do you have any ideas what this could be....did I screw something else up whild doing the install?

Go back under there and check all the bolts. It should make that noise and it's strange that it goes away when you apply the brakes.

I am somewhat at a loss. I can't think of anything that would stop as you apply the brakes. As was stated, check to make sure you torqued all the bolts properly and make sure you firmly reattached the brake lines to the strut.

One other thing, check the top nut on your strut. When I installed my D-specs, I thought the nut was tight until the spring was loaded. I quickly found out it was not. I had to torque the top bolt down after the strut was on the car and loaded to stop the strut from moving around inside the rubber of the topmount.

I don't remember if there is a dust shield or anything around the brakes that you might have accidentally bent but I would consider that too.

I'm such a dumb a$$! I didn't completly tighten all the lugs on the wheel...good thing I only drove a few miles. I tightened them all and all is well. Thanks for the input. I love the look of the drop. The install was pretty easy. It took me 5 hours by myself with the DIY info I found here. Just ordered my new tires...245/40/18's.
