New Rims and noise
New Rims and noise
Just had a question for anyone who could help.
I have 20 inch rims on my G coupe and for the last couple weeks I have been hearing noises come from the back driver side wheel. I have tried trouble shooting on my own and read a number of the differnt threads on this site but am still at a standstill.
Here is what happened. I installed the rims with the regular bolts that came with the car. THen i started hearing a bit of a cracking/grinding noise when i slow down or start off. I have checked and all the rims are tight. The other 3 wheels are fine. All the lug nuts are on and I put them on in proper order. I have also taken the wheel off twice and put them back on and the grinding/cracking noise is still there.
Does anyone have any idea or suggestion as to what may be wrong. Should I grease the part of the rim that comes in contact with the car wheel?
