So how do i know if my struts are out?

Whats up, Ive been sittin on S.Techs with stock struts for about..... 5k miles now, and im just wondering when these stock struts are going to "go out"... and.. how do I tell if they are out? Thanks a lot.

push on the body, if they are going out the car will not move
