I just bought a 2005 G35 Coupe with AT. It has Michelin tires on the front and fairly new Toyo tires on the rear. I don't think the road noise is that at speed. However when I go slower (like 5-15mph) I hear a fairly loud low pitched rumble sound. It just doesn't sound like tire noise to me, but I am not sure. I am not sure if I should take it in to the shop or not. Any ideas on what this noise could be?

 

Probably the tires. The coupe has a negative camber and the tires have this configuration: / \.

 

It's the front tires...not even influenced by camber. My original 2004 front tires are really, really loud.

 

Thanks. I just assumed it wasn't tires since it is fairly quiet at speed but so loud at low speeds. I figured tire noise would be the opposite.
