Bigger rotors on stock pistons

Guys,
I just put 20"s on my car but now my factory rotors look small. I was wondering if it was possible to put larger rotors on using the stock piston/caliper set-up.

Is it possible to upgrade rotor size without going BBK? I just want my rotors to fill up the space inside my wheels better.

Any suggestions?

Yes. Racing brake offer a bigger rotor kit along with a caliper relocation bracket.

I would imagine slapping bigger rotors on one end without making other adjustments will adversely affect brake bias, making the fronts too strong, which could actually increase braking distances. Do the kits relocate both the fronts and the rears, or just the fronts?

Racing Brake offers a front and rear caliper relocation location kit with bigger rotors that are 13" so doing front and back would not change the brake bias. Doing only one end would obviously.

I still can because 03-04 rotors were slightly different diameters, 11.6-11.5 respectively.

For the earlier G35s they have kits for the front and rear. The '05 and later G35s they only have the rear kit I believe.

I couldn't get enough interest to get a group buy going, but I still get a decent discount on their product. PM me if you'd like to see my prices for the kits.

I have the RacingBrake 13" oem caliper kit on my rear. They look a lot nicer with larger wheels and match my BBK better.

Here they are on my 20's:

And the front 4 pot kit:

Thanks for the suggestion - I will look into this.

Did you notice any change/improvement in performance with the Racing Brake kit? Or just visual improvement only?

You can get a used OEM Brembo set. The Brembo rotors are 12.76 inches and the calipers are way better than OEM.

Otherwise, you'll likely need a BBK.

These are Rotora 8 piston front 4 piston rear with 15 inch rotors x4 inside 20's.

I would love to get a brembo set but don't know where to find a used set. Those rotora's look CRAZY but those are way beyond my budget...how much was that kit? I'm thinking 5-6K just for the front right?

Search the for sale section of Driver and my350Z, as well as eBay for the OEM Brembos. Be sure to get the rotors and the rear caliper bolts as well.

So would the OEM brembos be better performing than the RAcing Brake option? So obviously if it was the coupe brembos...they fit sedan w/ 19"?

I would consider the OEM Brembos to be a better option than the Racing Brake OEM caliper upgrade. The Brembos have twice the number of pistons for one.

The OEM Brembos will bolt onto a sedan if it has the coupe 19's.
