Well, I seem to have bad luck when it comes to lug nuts, and studs.

For the second time, I have a stripped stud, but now its even worse because my rays lug nut is stripped as well. So now, I'm taking the car to the mechanic tomorrow to swap out the stud because I don't want to do it again. I changed the stud last time and it was a pain for me. What makes this even worse is that I've had a stripped lug nut for months and I still didn't know until imalazeeass aka mike helped me swap my rims out so the car can get painted.


So my question to you fellow g's is... is it possible to get ONE rays lug nut? or do I have to buy a new set? I think either way I'm going to buy a new set because i'm really pissed and my current ones are ruined.

Bah I'm so mad and sad.

fcking shops that don't care and all they do is want you money!!!!

You can NOT buy just one lug nut... You will have to purchase a complete set... Have you considered getting different lugs, perhaps some McGard Spline Drives? They are steel and dont strip as easily as the Rays Duralumin... Also, do you use a torque wrench to fasten the lugs?
