SPC Rear Camber / Toe Kit
Hey guys, I got the SPC/Eibach Rear camber kit installed. The alignment tech had a little issue with the washer on the toe bolt. I remember reading up the some people had to elongate the hole for the toe bolt? Can those who did this, elborate on why this needs to be done. Pics would also help. Did anyone else have problems with the washer?
Because of this issue, my rear camber is stuck at -1.9 to -2.0 degrees... which still isnt bad |
if you dont elongate the hole, you can't really adjust the toe..
|
^can you elaborate on how to elongate it? vertical? horizontal? what tools?
The toe was able to be adjusted, but would only allow -2.0 degrees on the camber. If the camber was adjusted anymore in the positive range, the toe became off again... this is all because camber affects toe, and vise versa... |
the spc/eibach kit should have come with a template to use. you'd use a dremel.
|
^crap... if there was a template, I dont think I have it anymore... any other possibilities?
thanks for the quick response Hero! again youre the guy with many answers lol |
|
^That definitely helps!!
Thanks a mil |
Ok so is this an issue that needs to be addressed on the newly released redesigned SPC kits?

Well im getting front and rear kits installed this weekend, just put them in my sig a little early.
Anything i need to be aware of then? These are the newly designed kits I have front and rear both with new part numbers. lemme know, thanks. |
if you're slammed, then you might still knock with the spc arms (i know i did, so i raised it). the spacers are necessary to get back into spec for aggressive drops.
|
ok cool, dont plan on dropping it much, highest setting which I believe is an inch drop.
|
Anyone want to pass me on your template after youre done????
