Would this combination work on the G35?
Front 18x9.5 on 245x40x18 20 offset
Rear 19x9.5 on 285x40x18. 25 offset

Would the front tires stick out or hit the ball joint?
I know the rear would fit but not sure about the font.
Any help would greatly appreciate.

i dont think the front would fit cuz i was looking at the tired guide in the 2007 ultimate wheel and tire guide magazine, and it listed that the biggest you can go on the g35 coupes: F- 20x8.5 275/30-20 R- 20x10 275/30-20. so im guessin that the 9.5 in the front is not goin to work. im doin some searchin too cuz im lookin for a set of new rims and tires.

9.5+20 in the front will fit fine, plenty of people have this setup and it clears fine. You may want to consider running a wider wheel in the rear though if you plan on installing a 285 on it, a 10.5 will be a better fit

i've got 9.5 in back and 275 is okay. 285 might be too muchy. if you go for it, then consider 35 series instead

I have 285s in the rear without a problem. I dont have an "aggressive" drop, but my car is lowered quite a bit - no rubbing problems.
