TPMS malfunction?? (!)

i just started having the low tire pressure warning light appear on startup...turn the car on and it begins to flash about 60 times, then stays lit...i'm still on stock 19s and the pressure is correct for all 4 tires, so i check the owner's manual and come across the TPMS malfunction ( flashing sign then stays illuminated)...anyone experience this? any insight what might cause this, for example i'm over due on a scheduled maintainance not sure if it's a coincidence or not

coincidence I think, could be a malfunctioning BCM, or, even sensors need registering again, probably something that the dealer should handle for U. Seems thats lots of problems lead directly to the BCM.
*I am changing wheels and dealer is going to do the work and reregister the sensors when new wheels installed.

Tpms

This system is more sensitive than the female gender. One lb. off in one wheel will set off the alarm. If you check tire pressure more frequent, like every week, you will not have the problem.

I found 38lb. is a good start.

his key malfunction is the fact that it flashes 60 or so times then remains on. SM clearly indcates that as a system problem rather than a low tire.
