Brakes Brembo blanks

Hey guys, searched and searched, but I haven't found where I can (supposedly) get the Brembo blanks for ~$50. Everything I find is in the $90 range...am I missing something or is this like the $25 Army Jeep

If I can't get the Brembo's at that price, do you have any recommendations in the $50 or less category. I'm used to paying $15 for rotors, $50 seems like a ripoff let alone $100.

I was also going to switch to Hawk HPS pads, hopefully a lot less dust than what these stockers put out. Are there any others I should consider?

TIA

I like the HPS pads a lot. I'm either going with those or the new Racing Brake 500 series pads next time.

$15 for rotors? I don't think you can even get them resurfaced for that much...also i very doubt you can even get OEM rotors for anything close to $50...

$15 rotors, if they even exist, are not something you want to be putting on these cars, much less any car. The Brembos use to cost about $55/ea from the Tirerack, but now the price is $90/ea. The OEM rotors are $70-90/ea depending on who you buy them from. Cheap rotors, especially with the OEM or Hawk pads, will warp very quickly.

Maybe I'm just used to jobber pricing, but I did brake jobs all day long and rarely were the rotors more than $20 (cheap China stuff) Wasn't worth the time to turn old rotors when I could sell them for that cheap. Rotors are rotors for the most part. *shrug*

Man your not driving a $15,000 car so don't put $15 rotors on it. On my G I don't care what the rotors cost as long as I know they are the best I can get, besides buying a whole brake kit
