DIY Brake and Rotor chage

Guys,

I search the forum and find a lot of info on brake pad change but not much on removnig the rotor.

Do you guys know any great thread to change the brake pad + rotor on a 05 G35 coupe with 32k miles?

Do anyone have the factory service manual of the break change?

Anything i need to keep in mind so nothing will happen to my brake fluid?

Auto Parts are willing to grind the rotor for $7 each. the brake pad cost $65 so excluding the the labor the change will cost me $79 and the dealership charged me $249 for it.

I would like to do it myself. I chagne my brake pad on my 2000 corolla before but i never take off the rotor to be grinded.

Thanks guys.

Taking the rotor off is a piece of cake. Search for a thread about painting the calipers. He does everything except remove the rotor.

After you take the wheel off, there are only two bolts holding the caliper on. Just take those bolts out and slide off the caliper. Use a bent coat hanger to hang up the caliper so it does not put a strain on the brake cable. Once the caliper is clear, pull off the rotor. If you are doing the rear, make sure the parking brake is off otherwise the brake will be holding the rotor on.

Edit: OK, here's a start... https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-suspension/153504-diy-request-rotors.html
