Your car looks fine with no drop...

I checked out the drop with the Tein Basics and I barely see a difference. This thread has pretty much convinced me to hold off on lowering my G and getting wheels and front lip instead.

You're crazy. No car looks good without a drop. I say you need to drop it at least .7" in the front using Tein 350z H-techs, and do a springmount mod in the rear to even it up. Should be the perfect conservative drop you are looking for, and will eliminate almost alll the wheel gap.

The car looks pretty good right now.

Do you want to lower it for looks or are you trying to get better handling out of the car? Have you changed out your anti-sway bars?

You do realize that Tein Basics are coilovers, right? Perhaps the car that you saw was not adjusted for an extreme drop.

My drop with Tein Basics.

For reference, here is my car with a mild 350 h-tech drop.

The difference should be even more apparent with a car at stock height.

Like they said, you can't get too aggressive with the Greddy front bumper. Still, you do need to drop that sucker as much as possible.

Here is my car on the tein 350Z H-techs. Got about a little more than 3" in the front. I just ordered my 350Z s-techs, should have them on by the end of the week. Must go lower.......
