Well I got my pads in thursday from CVRMotorsports and they were the correct sizes for an 05 Coupe which I have. HB268Z.665 front and HB370Z.559 rear. Well I got a call from the shop about 30mins ago saying the front won't fit, they are about an inch short lengthways. I have them read the part number and sure enough its HB268Z.665. So I call Hawk to make sure and they confirm that is correct size for an 05 coupe so I tell them the problem and they said it sounds like I have the '06 brakes on my car which are ~1" longer in the front and the same size in the rear. Has anyone ever heard of something like this happening before?

 

05 and 06 coupe brakes are the same, they sent you the 03-04 coupe brakes

 

That makes sense but even hawk support guy said the 05s and 06s have different pads. I'm just gonna see if I can get them swapped out.

 

The 05.5 have the 06 brake.
Check the rotors size. if it a 12.6 then it an 06 brake
Check the piston. If there are two then it an 06 brake.

 

im about to order from them as well but i dont know if i should go for the 03-05 ones or the 06 ones, any help there?
